I’ve spent too much time trying to understand. I have searched, dug deep and found no justification. The words, the actions and absence of accountability lack any justification. The lies are unjustifiable.
Enough. No more.
It is not within me to understand how many supported and continue to support him. I don’t have it within me to understand his hatred of humanity. I don’t have it within me to understand the acceptance of what that means. I don’t have it within me to understand his hatred of himself.
It is a profound and overwhelming sadness.
