The line
From time to time you hear or I’ve heard the use of ‘a red line’ or ‘line in the sand’. The line where acceptable is now unacceptable.
In the movie Regarding Henry with Harrison Ford and Annette Benning, Henry is a lawyer who survives a shooting only to find he can’t remember anything — he also has to recover his speech and mobility, in a life he no longer fits into. When he finally goes back to work his secretary brings him coffee and pours cream. He watches. She stops just before it overflows. “When you’ve had enough Mr Turner you say, when.”

Mine? June 16, 2015 the day *he descended the escalator in *his tower and announced *he was running. From that moment, our descent has been embarrassing, disappointing, devastating, heartbreaking and today as unacceptable as I knew it and *he would be. Not even for a second did I think otherwise.
