I am:
I have these friends. I don’t understand them. I spend a great deal of time trying to. They are miles away for the most part so having a conversation isn’t possible, really. And FB is a train wreck. No answers, just like everything else in opposite land, accusations, disparagement, lies, hypocrisy, hate and assumptions.
Today I see this;

Several hours later I have this;
I am:
Pro Immigration with due process and deporting actual criminals, like it’s worked for years.
– Since 2016, approximately 675,000 undocumented individuals have been deported under the Trump administration, with estimates suggesting that only 25% to 35% of those deported had criminal records. The focus of deportations has shifted to include many without criminal backgrounds, contrasting with previous administrations that prioritized deporting criminals.
Pro Military yet we are woefully deficient in honoring and serving those who served for our freedom.
– 5% of the total population of homeless are veterans, 32,882. Fortunately that is a decrease, but 32,882 too many. Suicide, report found for 2023 61% were not receiving VA health care, 6,398.
Pro Law Enforcement – for those who honor their oath;
- “On my honor, I will never betray my integrity, my character or the public trust.
I will always have the courage to hold myself and others accountable for our actions. I will always maintain the highest ethical standards and uphold the values of my community, and the agency I serve.” - Pro criminals who are found guilty of a crime through due process are sentenced and serve time for their crimes of theft, fraud, arson, bribery, rape, murder, domestic violence/abuse, sexual assault, kidnapping, trafficking-drug and human, and pedophilia. (And I have a brother in prison for that.)
Pro Rule of Law
– All laws. Current long list of pardons negates a rule of law. And I have issue with a convicted Felon in the White House. My brother is also a convicted felon. He won’t be in any office.
Pro Humanity – as long as someone is not harming me or others in any way physically, mentally or financially and living their best life, I have no place telling them how to live or who to love.
Pro Life – I am against the Death Penalty. Leading cause of death on death row is natural causes. Today we are pro birth when it cones to reproductive care and rights, not life. We offer nothing to help or support when needed after birth and have complicated real reproductive care that it’s now deadly.
Pro Anti-Racism with equal justice under the law. As long as Black and Brown lives continue to be marginalized and ‘don’t matter’ no one does.
Pro Accountability
-if we had rule of law, honored the Constitution, we would have accountability – we do not have accountability
Pro Democracy
- Government by the people, exercised either directly or through elected representatives.
- A political or social unit that has such a government.
- The common people, considered as the primary source of political power.
- Majority rule.
- The principles of social equality and respect for the individual within a community.
- Government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is retained and directly exercised by the people.
- Government by popular representation; a form of government in which the supreme power is retained by the people, but is indirectly exercised through a system of representation and delegated authority periodically renewed; a constitutional representative government; a republic.
- Collectively, the people, regarded as the source of government.
- The principles and policy of the Democratic party, so called.
George Floyd’s life was marked by struggles with poverty and addiction. He had a criminal record that included several offenses(8), such as drug possession, theft, and aggravated robbery. He served time in prison for these crimes, but after his release, he worked as a mentor in his community and sought to improve his life.
Charlie Kirk said nothing that I agreed with about humanity, he should be alive today. So should George Floyd, Travon Martin, Brianna Taylor, Daniel Anderl, Renee Good, Alex Pretti, Melissa & Mark Hortman, Emmet Till, Philando Castile, Sandra Bland, Tamir Rice, Michael Brown, Ahmad Aubry
Donald Trump faced four criminal indictments before presidency, a totaling 88 charges across those four cases, including charges for falsifying business records, misuse of funds from non-profit, mishandling classified documents, and attempting to overturn the 2020 election results. He has been convicted of 34 counts related to falsifying business records.
Randomly I asked Gemini a couple of questions. I’ve edited a bit;
At my core, even now as a Buddhist, I still hold the teachings of my childhood from church, unconditional love of God and the command to love one’s neighbor as oneself, often referred to as the “Great Commandment.” With emphasis on humility, forgiveness, and the pursuit of spiritual righteousness over material wealth, teaching that the “Kingdom of God” is accessible to all who live with a servant’s heart and a spirit of compassion.
Jesus reserved his harshest words not for those of other religions, but for the religious elite within his own tradition. He criticized those who used religious “rules and regulations” to alienate others or to appear righteous while lacking mercy and justice.
What happens when religion becomes Idolatry? The American Heritage dictionary, “The worship of idols, images, or anything which is not God; the worship of false gods.” “Idolatry is the worship of an idol or something other than God as if it were God, often considered a sin in monotheistic religions like Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It can involve both the veneration of physical images and the elevation of created things above the Creator.”
A while ago I posted this;

I’m waiting for engagement.
